The Lyin’ Whore has its origins in being one of the names given me by a short order cook at Mama’s Royal Café in the late 1970s. I decided to proudly own the soubriquet and included it in my fictionalized graphic memoirs “Over Easy” and “The Customer is Always Wrong.” Today, these glasses are ideal as conversation starters for bridal showers, cocktail parties or drinking alone!
